Dhaka, April 17: Awami League General Secretary and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has commented that BNP has chosen the path of conspiracy after knowing that it will not be able to win the next parliamentary elections.
He said these things to reporters after paying tribute to the portrait of the Father of the Nation kept in front of Bangabandhu Bhavan at Dhanmondi number 32 on the occasion of Mujibnagar Day on Monday.
The bridge minister said, "There is a deep conspiracy on our way. There is a conspiracy to oust Bangabandhu's daughter. Political evil forces are plotting this. They will not be able to win the upcoming elections with Sheikh Hasina. Therefore, this conspiracy is going on under the leadership of BNP."
Quader said, "Today on Mujibnagar Day, on the one hand, the commitment to build 'Smart Bangladesh', on the other hand, we must resist and defeat the political evil forces BNP, militant and communal evil forces, which are creating obstacles in the way of development and prosperity. Through this, we will move forward to build Sonar Bangla, the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu. This is it. Today's pledge."
The Road Transport Minister said, "Despite so much bloodshed, our achievement is not zero. There is achievement with expectations. Bangabandhu's underdeveloped Bangladesh, which is today a developing country under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina."
He said, "Now our commitment is to build a modern 'Smart Bangladesh' by 2041. There are obstacles in this today. There are conspiracies on our way again."
