BNP | Iftar Party BNP is tarnishing Awami League's character in Iftar party: Obaidul Quader
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 30 March 2024: BNP organizes Iftar party in big hotel. Awami League leader ordered to distribute iftar among common people instead of holding iftar party. However, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has commented that BNP is defaming Awami League's character, spreading false propaganda and lying during the Iftar party.
On Friday, March 29, he said these things at the Iftar and Eid distribution ceremony organized by the relief and social welfare sub-committee of the party at the central office of Awami League.
Obaidul Quader said, BNP leaders say that Awami League has severed ties with Pakistan to accept Delhi's rule. In fact Pakistan is in the heart and soul of BNP. Bangladesh, in the spirit and heart of Awami League, is not the slavery of any foreigners. He said, there is darkness around BNP, Sheikh Hasina's prudent politics towards public welfare has pushed BNP towards darkness. BNP conspired to derail the election. Failed and still talking incoherently. Eighty percent of BNP activists are being repressed, they are lying.
Obaidul Quader urged Mirza Fakhrul to refrain from lying. He said, they are shrinking because no one is accepting their politics of lies. Despite the impact of the global crisis, the people of Bangladesh are still better off than many countries due to Sheikh Hasina's prudent leadership.
