BNP Politics BNP suffers when people are happy: Obaidul Quader
Dhaka, May 7: Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has said that BNP suffers when people are happy.
He told reporters after inspecting the Narayanganj Link Road six-lane upgrade project in the signboard area of the capital on Friday.
Obaidul Quader expressed his excitement to see the smiles on the faces of the people as the roads are better this time than any other time in the past. However, the BNP has suffered because the people have not suffered. Because when people are happy, BNP suffers.
He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is a crisis manager in crisis. The Prime Minister has dealt with all crises with his far-sighted politics.
Earlier on Thursday, while exchanging views with leaders and activists in front of the district Awami League office in Noakhali, Obaidul Quader said, "Bangladesh's progress will continue as long as Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is in power."
He said the Awami League is the party to move forward in the crisis. Conspiracies, storms, tidal surges, floods, whatever it may be, the Awami League goes ahead in conspiracy-hostility. Under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina will cross the path of darkness. Awami League will establish Bangabandhu's Sonar Bangla. That is why we must be united.
District Awami League convener Khairul Alam Selim presided over the meeting while joint convener Shihab Uddin Shahin, Municipal Mayor Shahid Ullah Khan Sohel and Municipal Awami League President Abdul Wadud Pintu spoke.
