Obaidul Quader Border position has been strengthened: Obaidul Quader
Dhaka, Feb 9: Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that the position on the border has been strengthened due to the problems caused by the internal conflict in Myanmar.
He said this at a press conference organized at the central office of Awami League on Bangabandhu Avenue on Thursday afternoon.
General Secretary of Awami League said those who fled to Bangladesh are members of their border guard and army. The Myanmar ambassador was summoned, they will take them back and must take them back. There is no option to withdraw.
Obaidul Quader said, "We cannot keep fear at our border. Our foreign ministry is working. Will write to the United Nations. The Myanmar border has also reached India. Our foreign minister is currently staying in India. In the meantime, important discussions have been held with India. Among them is the Myanmar border issue."
