BRICS: Narendra Modi greets Prime Minister Hasina at official dinner in Johannesburg

"Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was a few yards away from the Bangladeshi Prime Minister, walked up to Sheikh Hasina and exchanged greetings," Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen said in a press briefing on the Prime Minister's busy schedule on Wednesday.

The South African President hosted the dinner in honor of the Heads of State and Government who arrived in Johannesburg to attend the 15th BRICS Summit at his invitation at Johannesburg's Gallagher Estate, Midrand on Wednesday night.

At the dinner, Sheikh Hasina exchanged greetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, among other heads of state and government.

Momen said that there was an exchange of skills in a very cordial environment.
