Citizen pay respect to the best minds of the nation on Independence Day

Dhaka, March 26: The whole Bengali nation is remembering the best minds and martyred freedom fighters of the country with great respect and love on the great Independence and National Day. The martyr's altar was decorated with floral tributes. In the eyes of all those who went to pay their respects, there was a strong oath to build a golden Bengal in the spirit of liberation war by breaking the fence of conspiracy and intrigue.

After the formalities of paying homage to the President and the Prime Minister in the early hours of the morning, the Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad, Chief Justice, Council of Ministers, Chiefs of the three Armed Forces, diplomats of different countries and Bangladesh Awami League paid homage to the martyred freedom fighters by laying wreaths at the Shaheed Bedi. At this time the state formalities were completed. The main gate of the National Memorial was opened to the public immediately after paying their respects.

With the opening of the main gate of the National Memorial, the common people flock to the premises of the Memorial to pay their respects to the best children of the nation. At that time, the leaders of the political parties paid their respects at the main altar of the National Memorial. Soon after their departure, people of different ages rushed to the National Memorial. Ordinary people of different professions came running. At this time, the National Memorial Square became popular among the common people.

Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad, Sector Commanders Forum, Muktijuddha 71, Dhaka Journalists Union, Dhaka Reporters Unity, We are the children of Muktijoddha, Dhaka University and its various halls, Jagannath University, National University, Jahangirnagar University and its various halls. Bangladesh Awami Juba League, Chhatra League, Swechchhasebak League, Jasad, BLRI, Gana University, NAP, various government banks and insurance companies, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, Ganatantri Party, Samajtantrik Chhatra Front, Trade Union Center, Bangabandhu Sangsad, Mahila Parishad, Bangladesh Open University Teachers Association - Different governmental organizations, different political, social and cultural organizations.

Ordinary people came to the memorial wearing red and green flags in Punjabi and sari in the belief of building a country free from violence and in the spirit of liberation war. Such scenes were everywhere. Children and teenagers draw national flags on different parts of the body including hands and face. Many again rushed to the National Memorial with their family members.

The Dhaka-Aricha highway including the memorial and its surroundings was covered with a security blanket with the joint participation of various departments of law enforcement including Dhaka district police.
