Conspirators are uniting under the leadership of BNP: Obaidul Quader

After paying tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi 32 on National Mourning Day on Tuesday morning, Obaidul Quader further said that the conspirators who today are uniting under the leadership of BNP to strike freedom once again, to strike the liberation war. He said, by fighting against them today, under the leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina, we will unite all the forces of the liberation war, resist them and defeat them.

He also said that the assassination of Bangabandhu is a severe blow to the progress of the newly independent Bangladesh in achieving and developing 50 years since the newly independent Bangladesh. On that day not only Bangabandhu's family Bangamata and 18 family members were killed, but on that day they killed the great and glorious liberation war of Bangladesh.

Quader said, the spirit of liberation war was their target. Our battle cry Jai Bangla, the ideal of freedom was their target. It was followed by the murder of four national leaders in jail after the assassination of Bangabandhu and finally the attack on August 21 targeting our Prime Minister Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina as a prime target - all are in fact the same saga, the continuation of the same conspiracy.

General Secretary of Awami League said that Bangladesh has not been freed from the conspiracy even today. If we had not lost Bangabandhu, then by now Bangladesh would have been known and established as a developed and prosperous country all over the world. But Bangabandhu's political freedom, the legacy he gave us will never die in this township. After that, Bangabandhu's fortunately unfinished work, Bangabandhu's dream with which he led the creation of Bangladesh, today Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina has taken our country a long way in development and achievement.
