Covid-19 Coronavirus: Mymensingh Medical College reports 15 deaths in 24 hours
Dhaka, July 5: In the last 24 hours- between Sunday and Monday morning- the Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) recorded 15 coronavirus deaths at its Covid-19 unit.
Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon, a spokesperson of the hospital's coronavirus unit, said 296 patients are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Twenty among them are in the intensive care unit, the hospital official said.
Forty-nine people were admitted in the same period, while 46 patients have been discharged.
Civil Surgeon Mohammad Nazrul Islam told Dhaka Tribune that 707 samples were tested at the hospital’s PCR lab, of which when 210 returned positive results for the coronavirus.
