Covid-19: Death toll touches 4.552 as 36 die within 24 hours in Bangladesh
Dhaka, September 8: At least 36 people have died of Covid-19 in Bangladesh in the past 24 hours.
The deaths took place in between Monday and Tuesday.
In the same period, 1,892 people tested positive with the deadly virus.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) report, 3,236 people were discharged from the hospitals, taking the recovery tally to 2,27,809.
The death toll touched 4,552 with the latest casualties.
With the latest infections, the total number surged to 3,29,251.
A total of 14,973 samples were tested in 94 laboratories, said the DGHS report.
