Covid-19 infection toll crosses 4,00,000; 15 die within 24 hours

Dhaka, October 26: In the last 24 hours, 15 people have died due to coronavirus in the country. Moreover, by the 233rd day of coronavirus detection, the number of people infected with the virus has exceeded 4,00,000, besides more than 3,00,000 people have recovered from the disease, an official press release notified.

According to the release, coronavirus has been detected in the bodies of 4,00,252 people, while 22,71,347 tests have been conducted thus far.

Considering the total test, the detection rate is 17.62 percent. Till yesterday, this rate was 17.67 percent.

Coronavirus has been detected in the bodies of 1,434 people in the last 24 hours, while 13,758 samples have been tested.

On Monday (October 26) 128 more people have been identified than Sunday (October 25).

On Sunday, 1,308 people were identified in the sample test of 11,103 people.

In the last 24 hours, considering the sample test, the detection rate is 10.44 percent. The previous day this rate was 11.78 percent. Today the detection rate is 1.34 percent less than yesterday.

According to the notification, 1,493 people have been cured of coronavirus in the last 24 hours in hospitals and at home.

So far 3,16,600 people have recovered in the country.

Today, the recovery rate is 79.10 percent. The previous day's rate was 67.01 percent. 

According to the Department of Health, 13,666 samples have been collected in the last 24 hours to detect coronavirus.

The previous day 11 thousand 757 samples were collected. 

In the last 24 hours, 13,758 people have been tested in 111 laboratories of the country. On the previous day, 11 thousand 103 people were tested.
