Coronavirus Covid claims five lives, 614 test positive on Tuesday
Dhaka, September 20: Five people died in the country from Monday 8 am to Tuesday 8 am due to coronavirus. With this, the number of deaths due to Covid in the country has increased to 29 thousand 345 people. At the same time, 614 new patients were identified.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the country has increased to 20 lakh 18 thousand 829. Considering the sample test in the last 24 hours, the detection rate of corona is 12.73 percent.
So far, the average rate of corona detection is 13.61 percent.
Meanwhile, 283 people have recovered from Covid in 24 hours from 8 am on Monday to 8 am on Tuesday. So far 19 lakh 61 thousand 260 people have recovered.
According to the DGHS, 4,831 samples were collected and 4,825 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
Of the five who died in the last 24 hours, three were men, two were women. Among them, two died in Dhaka division and one each in Chittagong, Barisal and Mymensingh divisions.
