Bangladesh Dengue claims three more lives in Bangladesh
Dhaka, 6 November 2022 : 908 dengue patients were admitted to hospital in the country from 8 am on Saturday to 8 am on Sunday.
With this, the number of dengue patients admitted to hospitals across the country stood at 3,326. Meanwhile, news of 3 deaths due to dengue has been received.
Sunday (November 6) in charge of Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health Dr. Md. The report signed by Zahidul Islam also said that 476 people are residents of Dhaka and 432 people are outside Dhaka out of 908 people admitted to the hospital due to dengue infection in 24 hours (Saturday 8 am to Sunday 8 am). With 908 new patients, the total number of patients currently admitted in various public and private hospitals in the country stands at 3,368.
According to the information of the Department of Health, a total of 43 thousand 107 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue infection from January 1 to November 6 this year. Among them, 39 thousand 569 people have recovered and received discharge from the hospital. 3 people died due to dengue in 24 hours. A total of 170 people have died of dengue since January 1.
During the corona epidemic in 2020, dengue infection was not seen much, but in 2021, 28 thousand 429 people were infected with dengue throughout the country. In the same year, 105 people died due to dengue throughout the country.
