Dhaka, November 14: Aedes mosquito-borne dengue fever cases are increasing in the country. Death is also increasing. Three people have died from dengue fever in 24 hours from 8 am to 8 am on Sunday across the country. With this, the number of dengue deaths in the country this year has increased to 205.

At this time, 760 patients were admitted to hospital due to dengue throughout the country. With this, the number of dengue patients admitted to hospital in the country stood at 2 thousand 989. On November 2, a maximum of 1,94 dengue patients were detected in the country in a single day.

On Monday (November 14), the in-charge of the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Dr. Md. Zahidul Islam, signed the report on dengue.

According to the report, 425 residents of Dhaka and 335 outside Dhaka were among the 760 people who were admitted to hospital due to dengue infection in 24 hours from Sunday morning to Monday morning.

The notification also said that the total number of dengue patients admitted in various public and private hospitals of the country including 760 new ones is 2 thousand 989 people.

According to the information of the DGHS, from January 1 to November 14 this year, a total of 49,300 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. Among them, 46,106 people have recovered and received discharge from the hospital.
