Bangladesh Dengue Dengue leaves four people dead in Bangladesh
Dhaka, 20 November 2022 : 4 more people died from dengue in 24 hours from 8 am on Saturday to 8 am on Sunday.
On this day, 646 new dengue patients were admitted to the hospital. With this, the number of dengue patients admitted to hospitals across the country has reached 2 thousand 478.
Sunday (November 20) in charge of Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health Dr. Md. This information was given in the dengue report signed by Zahidul Islam.
According to the report, 326 residents of Dhaka and 326 people from outside Dhaka out of 646 people admitted to the hospital due to dengue infection in 24 hours (from Saturday 8 am to Sunday 8 am). According to the notification, the total number of dengue patients currently admitted in various public and private hospitals of the country has reached 2 thousand 478 including 646 new ones.
According to the information of the Department of Health, from January 1 to November 20 this year, a total of 52 thousand 807 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. Among them, 50 thousand 99 people have recovered and got discharge from the hospital. A total of 230 people have died of dengue so far this year, including 4 people who contracted dengue in 24 hours.
