Dengue Dengue: Six deaths, 559 admitted to hospital
Dhaka, November 19: The number of people affected by dengue fever is increasing in the country. Death is also increasing. Six patients died of dengue in 24 hours from 8 am on Friday to 8 am on Saturday. As a result, 226 people have died of dengue so far. At the same time, 559 dengue patients are under treatment in the hospital. With this, the number of dengue patients admitted to the hospital stood at 2,764.
The dengue report also said that 320 of the 559 people who were admitted to the hospital with dengue in the 24-hour period are residents of Dhaka and 239 are from outside Dhaka.
According to the information of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 52,161 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue from January 1 to November 19 this year. Among them, 49,171 people have recovered and received discharge from the hospital.
