Bangladesh Dhaka: Lakes to be renovated for human use
Dhaka, 28 August 2022 : All the reservoirs and lakes of the capital under public works will be made suitable for use. The proper environment will be brought back to them.
Housing and Public Works Secretary Shahid Ulla Khandkar said this while releasing local fish in Ramna Lake in the capital on Saturday organized by Believers Angler BD.
The secretary said that Rajuk's Uttara and Purbachal lakes are now suitable for use. Uttara III Project lakes have been cleaned. That water is now suitable for use. That trend will continue in the future. Apart from this, the parks will also be opened for all.
