Dhaka: Police ban flying an unauthorized drone
Dhaka, Aug 13: Security officials have banned flying drone for any purpose without approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh as punishable, media reports said.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has prohibited flying drones without acquiring permission from the authorities concerned, reported Dhaka Tribune.
According to the statement, flying drones for any purpose without approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh is a punishable offence, reported the news paper.
The ban has been imposed as flying drones may threaten public security and create panic.
