According to the information of Dinajpur Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature of the district was recorded at 5.5 degrees Celsius at 6 am on Sunday, January 28.

The minimum temperature on Saturday 27 January was 8.3 degrees Celsius. That is, the temperature has decreased by about 3 degrees Celsius in a day.

Meanwhile, due to severe cold weather, according to the letter of the Directorate of Primary Education, on January 28 and 29, according to the decision of the Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education, the teaching activities of all the schools of the district have been closed for one day today, January 28, due to low temperature. However, the working people are going out to work ignoring the cold in Konkan in the pursuit of livelihood.

A farmer named Mumtaz Hossain said that although it is cold in Konkan in the morning, the sun rises after noon and brings a lot of relief.

However, if we working people cannot go to work in the morning, the owner does not work. Dinajpur Meteorological Office official Asaduzzaman said that the temperature in the district is likely to remain like this throughout the month of January.

Today the temperature was recorded at 5.5 degrees. Which is the lowest temperature in this district this year.

According to the Meteorological Office, mild cold currents prevail in a region when the minimum temperature is between 10 and 8 degrees Celsius. And if the minimum temperature is 8-6 degrees Celsius, it is called moderate cold current. Below it is a severe cold current
