CEC Elections must appear free-fair-neutral to international community: CEC
Dhaka, Jan 1: Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal said that the international community should show that the election is free and fair.
He said these on Monday (January 1) at the opening ceremony of the second phase of the training program for executive magistrates. It is being held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Hall in Sherebangla Nagar of the capital.
Planning Department Secretary Satyajit Karmakar has become the senior secretary in the administration. A notification has been issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Sunday appointing him as Senior Secretary.
Karmakar has been posted in the planning department after being appointed senior secretary. With this, the total number of senior secretaries in the administration is 11.
