Rowshan Ershad Ershad returning to Bangladesh at the end of September
Dhaka: Rowshan Ershad, the leader of the opposition in the Jatiya Sangsad and the main sponsor of the Jatiya Party, will return home in the last week of this month.
On Saturday (September 10) night, Rowshan Ershad's political secretary Golam Masih said this. Roshan Ershad is under treatment in a hospital in Bangkok for 10 months. His son Saad Ershad and his son's wife are there with him.
Gholam Masih said that the leader of the opposition is healthy and will return to the country in the last week of this month.
Earlier in a press release signed by Japa leader Iqbal Hossain Raju, it was informed that Begum Roshan Ershad called the 10th National Conference for the special needs of the party as the power of the main sponsor given in the rules mentioned in Article 20 of the Constitution of the Jatiya Party.
Quoting Rowshan Ershad, it further said, 'By the grace of Allah, I am completely healthy. There is no pressure on me. Those who are repeatedly promoting me as sick have different motives.'
In the circular, Roshan Ershad urged everyone to forget all differences, differences and confusion to make the Jatiya Party conference a success.
Earlier on September 1, 22 National Party MPs urged the Speaker to appoint party chairman GM Quader as the leader of the opposition in place of Roshan Ershad. Only two took a stand for Roshan Ershad.
