Exhibition of honorary memento to express gratitude to the Prime Minister

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, May 31: An honorary memento has been displayed on behalf of the people of Bangladesh thanking Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her outstanding contribution to the development of the country and the welfare of the people.

On Monday (May 30) afternoon, an organization called 'Bangladesh Bandhu Samaj' organized the exhibition titled 'Bangladesher Gourab O Sonman' (Pride and Honour of Bangladesh) at the Zahur Hossain Chowdhury Hall of the National Press Club.

F. Ahmed Khan Rajib, president of the organization, announced that the memento will be handed over to the Prime Minister. Later a discussion meeting was held on the occasion of the exhibition.

Speakers at the meeting said that it has become very important to express gratitude for working for the welfare of the country and human beings. It is vital for mankind to have a special day on earth to realize the expectation of simultaneous gratitude. That special day should be 'Gratitude Day', for which the last day of the year (December 31) is appropriate.

At the same time F. Ahmed Khan Rajib said that the main goal of Bangladesh friendly society is to create an atmosphere of friendship and harmony among the people. Peace will be established in the country only if we can build a country of harmony and friendship in a mixture of brotherhood, friendship and friendship by giving up violence, hatred and arrogance.

He said, "Gratitude medals will be given to 100 great people of the country. Today, I would like to express my gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, for her outstanding contribution to the development of the country and the welfare of the people. We will convey the honorary memento to the Prime Minister very soon."
