Dhaka Fire breaks out at BRTC double decker bus
Dhaka, 26 November 2023 : Miscreants set fire to a BRTC double-decker bus in Abdullahpur of the capital.
The bus was set on fire at around 7:20 pm on Saturday.
Ershad Hossain, the officer in charge of the fire service headquarters, confirmed this information on Saturday night.
He said miscreants set fire to the upper floor of a BRTC passenger double-decker bus in Abdullahpur.
Others, including the driver of the car, put out the fire. Some seats of the bus were burnt.
The bus driver and his assistant managed to put out the fire before the fire service unit reached the spot after receiving the news.
Meanwhile, RAB has arrested 721 people for their involvement in violence and sabotage in different parts of the country. They were arrested in connection with various attacks, vandalism and violence from October 28 to Saturday (November 25). RAB's Legal and Media Wing Assistant Director ANM Imran Khan confirmed the matter in the evening.
According to RAB, Arman, an active member of BNP, and Rabbi Hossain, an active member of Lalbagh Thana Chhatra Dal, were arrested in the case of arson, vandalism and vandalism in the Bangshal area of the capital on Saturday.
Apart from this, six people have been arrested for their involvement in car vandalism, arson and vandalism incidents from different parts of the country.
