Dhaka, August 18: Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader advised those who are agitating for the caretaker government to go to Pakistan.

He said, "Only one country in the world has a caretaker government, that country is Pakistan. You (BNP leaders) go there. Otherwise, the ghost of the caretaker government should come to the election. Otherwise, BNP's mango-peel will all be gone."

He said these in a rally at Bangabandhu Avenue on Thursday afternoon. Dhaka Metropolitan North and South Awami League organized this rally to protest the August 17 series bombings.

Obaidul Quader said, "Has Mirza Fakhrul forgotten history? It is surprising when Mirza Fakhrul said that Awami League is conspiring to wipe out the Zia family. People who have no eyesight can call daylight darkness. Has BNP forgotten about August 15? All of Bangabandhu's family was swept away in the stream of blood. This month is the month of bleeding for us. In this month our tears of pain flow. This month reminds us of terrible tragedies. The blood stain of that day (August 15) is still in the hands of BNP. BNP is still trying to kill Sheikh Hasina. No one can remove whomever Allah keeps. Sheikh Hasina's roots are deep in the soil of Bengal. May Allah have mercy on Sheikh Hasina. The people of this country have prayers."

Awami League General Secretary said, "BNP still does politics of terror. BNP is the trusted address of the JMB who carried out the series of bomb attacks."

At that time, Obaidul Quader said to BNP leaders, "500 people could not organize a procession for Khaleda Zia. Now shedding tears. Amir Khusru, Mirza Fakhrul's eyes are dry."

He also said, "Once upon a time, father (Ziaur Rahman) used to say proudly - Money is no problem. As father, so child. His son (Tarique Rahman) also said, do agitation, there will be no shortage of money. Where does this money come from?"

Obaidul Quader also claimed that as long as BNP remains in Bangladesh, all evil forces will conspire to destroy Bangladesh under the leadership of BNP.
