Dhaka, April 25, 2021: The government has decided to close all the borders of Bangladesh with the country due to the deteriorating situation of coronavirus (Covid-19) in India.

The decision will remain in force for two weeks from Monday (April 26). Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal made the announcement on Sunday (April 25th).
"We have been asked to close the Indian border as per the decision taken by the cabinet department," he said. It will be closed. However, those who come will have to stay in quarantine for 14 days at the border. '

As per the decision of the government, the import and export of goods will continue even if the movement of people across the Indian border is stopped. Air traffic with India is already closed. As a result of this decision on Sunday, the movement by land with them will be stopped.

According to Indian media reports, corona is being identified and recorded daily in the country. In the last 24 hours, about three and a half lakh people in the country have been newly infected with corona. On the other hand, more than two and a half thousand people have died.

Health experts in Bangladesh say that the 'Bengal variant' of Corona identified in India is extremely deadly. This variant has 300 times the ability to transmit around.

They were also telling everyone to be careful so that this double or triple mutation virus of India could not enter the country in any way.
