IHC SCC Visit Indian Deputy High Commissioner lauds Sylhet City Corporation's development
Dhaka, November 1: Deputy High Commissioner of India Binoy George inspected various development activities of Sylhet City Corporation (SCC). During this time he appreciated the progress of development work. On Sunday (October 31), the Indian Deputy High Commissioner inspected the development project with SCC Mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury.
During this time they visited Majlis Amin City Baby Care Academy and cleaner colony.
They spoke to the beneficiaries during the visit. Later visit the walkway at Dhopadighirpara.
Mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury said several projects of SCC are being implemented with the funding of the Government of India.
On behalf of Sylhet City Corporation, the Mayor thanked the Government of India and the Indian High Commission in Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, after inspecting the development activities, Deputy High Commissioner Binoy George hoped to be a development partner of SCC in the future as well.
Assistant High Commissioner of the Indian Embassy Niraj Kumar Jaiswal, Second Secretary Sanjay Jain and Chief Engineer of SCC Nur Azizur Rahman were present on the occasion.
