Indian High Commissioner Doraiswami discusses smart city cooperation with Dhaka North Mayor Atiqul Islam

Dhaka, November 25: Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswami on Tuesday held an online meeting with Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam and expressed interest in working on various issues in the capital, including the development of Uttara Sector 4 Park.

Welcoming the Indian Ambassador, the Mayor said, "Bangladesh and India are two friendly countries. The two countries can exchange knowledge and experience in urban planning and civic service delivery. This will make the cities of both the countries more prosperous."

Vikram Kumar Doraiswami expressed his interest to work on Daily Integrated Traffic Management System, Intelligent Security System, Intelligent Lighting System, Development of Sector 4 Park No. 4 in Dhaka city.

DNCC CEO Md. Selim Reza and Chief Engineer Brigadier General Md. Amirul Islam were also present during the meeting.
