Indian immigration process will start soon

Dhaka, February 26, 2022: Indian High Commissioner Vikram Kumar Doraiswamy has said that Indian immigration will be opened soon for passport passengers as the Corona situation has eased.

He also said that appropriate steps would be taken to improve the two-lane area for entry and return of goods trucks at Sona Masjid Zero Point area.

He was speaking as the chief guest at an exchange meeting with representatives of the Sonamasjid Import and Export Group in Chapainawabganj on Sunday (February 26) at 11am.

Ataur Rahman Raju, General Secretary of Sonamasjid Import and Export Group, among others, spoke on the occasion. Samil Uddin Ahmed Shimul, Assistant High Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Bhati and Aminul Islam Sentu, senior vice-president of Sonamasjid Import and Export Group.

Later, the Indian High Commissioner laid a wreath at the tomb of Captain Mohiuddin Jahangir, the greatest martyr. Finally, he toured the various installations of the small Sona Mosque. Leaders including Sonam Masjid C&F Agents Association President Harun Aur Rashid were present at the occasion.
