Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Nov 25: Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked for votes for boat symbol, promising more development in the coming days.

She said, "I have developed a lot in the country, if you give me a chance, I will develop more in the coming days. You have given us the opportunity to serve you by voting for the boat brand. I want to promise that you will give Awami League a chance to serve you by voting for the boat brand in the future. You raise your hand and promise."

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said these in her address to the Awami League public meeting at Jessore Shams ul Huda Stadium on Thursday (November 24) afternoon. The stadium turned into a sea of people upon the arrival of the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said in response to the criticism about the reserve, "Many people are criticizing the reserve. Many people ask where did the reserve go? We have not wasted our reserves. I have used it for the welfare of people. I had to buy fuel oil, I bought food grains. I have implemented various projects. Corona vaccination and medical care have been confirmed. We have to spend from the reserve for these works. Because we are always thinking about people and carrying out development activities."

Awami League president said, "Our government has increased the reserve record amount. And no government could increase the reserves. We are doing all the work keeping sufficient reserve in hand. There is no problem with the reserve. We have enough money in all our banks. There won't be any problem in the coming days too."

Pointing out that no person will be landless or addressless, the Prime Minister said, "When I came to power in 1996, I decided that not a single person would be landless. This time we came to power and built houses for the landless. We have built houses for 35 lakh people. People's lives have changed by getting a house. I have fulfilled the desire of the father of the nation."

She said, "No one's land should remain uncultivated. All land must be cultivated. So that we don't have food shortage. Do not touch anyone. Do not look to anyone. He who produces something with what he has."

Stating that he was happy to hold a public meeting in Jessore, the Prime Minister said, "I have a pulse here in Jessore. My grandfather Sheikh Zahurul Haque is lying on the ground here. He used to work in Jessore. My mother died when she was three years old. At that time the communication system was so bad that the body could not be taken to Tungipara. So my grandfather is buried here. Here is the Poverty Alleviation Training Center in memory of my grandfather."
