Level three warning issued at seaports in Bangladesh

Dhaka, May 30: The seaports have been asked to display local warning signal No. 3 due to the formation of deep moving clouds in the coastal areas of the country. This information was given by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department in a weather warning on Monday (May 30).

It is said that deep circulating clouds are forming in the coastal areas of North Bay and adjoining Bangladesh. Winds are likely to blow in the sea ports, North Bay and adjacent coastal areas of Bangladesh.

Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra seaports have been asked to display local warning signal number 3. Fishing boats and trawlers stationed in the North Bay have been warned to move cautiously near the coast until further notice.

Although there was no rain in Dhaka on Sunday (May 29), there was rain on Monday. Although the sky of Dhaka has been sunny since morning, with the increase of the day, the clouds in the sky continue to increase. It started to rain around 11 pm. The rain continued till about 1 pm. According to the meteorological department, Dhaka received 28 mm of rain from morning till noon.

In the next 24 hours from 9 am on Monday, most parts of Dhaka, Sylhet, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and some parts of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh divisions may receive showers or thundershowers with temporary gusts or gusts. At the same time, there may be moderate to heavy rains in some parts of the country.
