Liberation War mancha protests against Chinese atrocities, demands better treatment of Uighur Muslims in China

Dhaka, August 28: Condemning China's treatment of Uighur Muslims, members of the Liberation War mancha demonstrated in front of the National Press Club (Jatiya Press Club) in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh.

The incident took place on Friday.

 

Members formed human chains while raising slogans.

 

They also held placards pointing out the atrocities committed against the minority Uighur community by the Chinese government.

 

 

The agitating members demand that China stops the killing and persecution of Uighur Muslims in Xinjiang province.

 

It also demanded social, political, economic and religious freedom be granted to the Uighur population by Beijing.

 

The Uighur population in China is estimated to be around 12.7 million.

 

According to reports, the minority community faces several obstruction in China, including rape, forced abortion, conversion and time at internment camps.
