Bangabandhu Corner Madrasas without Bangabandhu Corner will not get MPO
Dhaka, June 26: The work of setting up 'Bangabandhu Corner' in all the general educational institutions of the country has been completed long ago. Many institutions are setting up Bangabandhu Corner in a new and improved way. But despite multiple directives from the government, it has not yet been possible to set up Bangabandhu Corners in the country's madrasas.
In this situation, the Department of Madrasa Education has sought pictorial proof of whether 'Bangabandhu Corner' has been set up in the madrasas of the country. On the other hand, the Islamic Arabic University has said that it will not renew the affiliation of the higher education level of the madrasa if it does not have 'Bangabandhu Corner'.
The Department of Madrasa Education has informed that the MPOs (Monthly Pay Order) of the Madrasa Educational Institutions which have not set up Bangabandhu Corner will not be renewed and no new MPO will be given to any teacher. Even the Department of Madrasa Education will not consider all applications, including promotion of teachers, recruitment of new teachers-staff and higher grades.
When asked, Director General of the Madrasa Education Department KM Ruhul Amin said, "We will stop all the work, including MPO, promotion, higher scale, of those institutions which will not create a Bangabandhu Corner. Many organizations show interest, many do not. We have taken such a step to ensure the establishment of 'Bangabandhu Corner' in all the madrasas of the country."
Earlier, the Department of Madrasa Education directed to set up 'Bangabandhu Corner' in Madrasa educational institutions. The Madrasa Education Department also wants information to establish the war of liberation as per the instructions. But so far no information has been sent from many madrasas about setting up 'Bangabandhu Corner'. That is why all the regional deputy directors have been directed to send the information by June 30.
The office order signed by Assistant Director (Administration) Mahfuza Yasmin on June 21 said, 'Bangabandhu Corner' is set up with pictorial evidence and certification of the concerned Upazila Nirbahi Officer or District Education Secondary Officer or Upazila / Thana Secondary Education Officer by hard copy by post or courier service. It should be sent to the Director General of the Madrasa Education Department by June 30. The office order also directed the president, principal, superintendent and ibtedayi chiefs of the madrasa management committee to provide information.
According to the office order, new MPO, BEd, BMEd, higher grade, transfer, appointment, promotion, arrears, DG's representative nomination, birth date correction from next July, name and account number correction and other applications submitted online or directly will not be considered.
