Dhaka: Bangladesh Minister AK Abdul Momen has said many countries want to achieve their interests by applying pressure.
Asked about the recent US sanctions on RAB and the agency, the foreign minister said questions were being raised about the human rights situation in Bangladesh. Its real purpose is to gain interest by creating pressure. Because, we are in a geographically important position.
He was speaking to reporters at a conference titled 'Branding Bangladesh' organized by Center for Non-Resident Bangladeshis at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital on Saturday (February 5th).
