Coronavirus MP Shakil contracts Covid-19 for third time even after taking three vaccine doses
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, January 22: Two MPs from Sirajganj have been infected with coronavirus. One of them received three doses of vaccine while the other got two.
Sirajganj-1 (Kazipur-Sadar) constituency MP Tanvir Shakil Joy said he took a booster dose after getting two general coronavirus vaccine doses. Even after that, he contracted the Covid for the third time on January 19. However, he has no problem except cold. He is taking treatment from home.
Another person infected with the virus is Abdul Aziz Sarkar, MP from Sirajganj-3 (Raiganj-Tarash) constituency. He was infected for the second time after receiving the second dose of vaccine. His infection was detected seven days ago. He has cold and cough, and he is also taking treatment from home.
Besides, Raiganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Tripti Kana Mandal, Kazipur Upazila Parishad Chairman and General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Khalilur Rahman Siraji and District Juba League President Rashed Yusuf Jewel have also been infected with the virus.
