Muktijuddho Mancha to welcome Narendra Modi during Bangladesh visit

Dhaka:Muktijuddho Mancha, the platform of descendants of freedom fighters comprised of mostly Chhatra League members, have announced that they are going to organize a colourful programme to welcome Indian PM Narendra Modi during his upcoming visit to Dhaka city.

The General Secretary of the organization Al Mamun announced a set of 12 programs ahead of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary at the Dhaka University Journalists’ Association office in TSC on Thursday, reports Dhaka Tribune.

 

According to the newspaper report, a welcome procession will be held for the PM.

 

Terming Ducsu VP Nurul Haque Nur’s platform as the new formation of “Islami Chhatra Shibir,” he told the newspaper: “Nur and his associates want to foil the birth centenary program of Bangabandhu by talking against the Indian government.”

 

He described Modi as an utmost friend of Bangladesh.
