Power Division Nasrul Hamid accepts Power Division's Independence Award from PM Hasina
Dhaka, March 26: The Power Division of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has received the 'Independence Award-2022' in recognition of its contribution to the socio-economic development of the country and its successful completion of 100 percent electrification in the Mujib year.
State Minister Nasrul Hamid received the award from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a function at the Prime Minister's Office on Thursday (March 24) morning. Later, the Minister of State handed over the award (medal and certificate) to the Prime Minister.
Concerned parties say that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina herself is in charge of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources. She is the embodiment of this glorious achievement.
One hundred percent electrification of the country has been possible due to her visionary leadership and policy. She announced that he would illuminate every house in the year of Mujib. Taking the responsibility on her shoulders, Sheikh Hasina has completed the task of 100 percent electrification. It has brought electricity to people's homes across the country. Therefore, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina deserves a memento of this achievement.
Also present on the occasion were Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, Energy Adviser to the Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Kaikaus, Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister and Md. Habibur Rahman, Secretary to the Power Division.
