Dhaka, Jan 10: Awami League is on the way to form the government after being elected for the fourth consecutive time in the 12th national parliament elections. Members of Parliament were sworn in on Wednesday morning. Cabinet swearing-in at Bangabhaban to take place tomorrow (Thursday) at 7 pm. After that, the journey of the new government will begin by distributing the offices of the ministers and publishing the gazette.

In the meantime, the Cabinet Department has prepared for the swearing-in ceremony of the ministers. Secretary Mahbub Hossain said this.

He said, "January 7 elections were held. We are preparing for that. Preparations are underway to organize the swearing-in ceremony of the cabinet at Bangabhaban on Thursday (January 11) at 7 pm."

Many may change offices in the new cabinet. Many may be left out. In the meantime, the elimination of six people has been confirmed. Several state ministers and deputy ministers may be promoted.

According to various sources, the Awami League president has selected and nominated several people in this year's parliamentary elections. They have many jobs in different sectors. The Prime Minister can use those chosen among them in specific sectors. In this discussion, former bureaucrat and private secretary to the Prime Minister Alauddin Ahmed Chowdhury Nashim, Professor Mohammad Ali Arafat, former Chief Secretary Abul Kalam Azad, former PSC Chairman Mohammad Sadiq, IEB President Engineer Abdus Sabur, Professor Dr. Pran Gopal Dutta, energy expert and law professor Dr. Salim Mahmud, former chairman of Biman Sajjadul Hasan, BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon and cricketer Mashrafe bin Mortuza.

Apart from this, Dhaka District Awami League President Benazir Ahmed, Habiganj District Awami League President Abu Zahir, Laxmipur District Awami League General Secretary Nur Uddin Chowdhury Nayan are also in discussion. Agriculturalists AFM Bahauddin Nashim, Mirza Azam, Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan, Rumana Ali, Mayez Uddin Sharif Ruel and many others are in this list.

Among the seniors are Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, Law Minister Anisul Huq, Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, Expatriate Welfare Minister Imran Ahmad, Information Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud, Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni, Planning Minister MA Mannan, Lands Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, Public Administration State Minister Farhad Hossain and many others are assumed to be staying.
