Anti-Corruption No corrupt will be spared: Health Minister
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 19 January 2024: Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr. Samanta Lal Sen commented that it is difficult to stop corruption suddenly.
He said, "Have confidence. I have not done corruption all my life and I will not do it in the future. I will not accept any kind of corruption while I am there. No one will get away with corruption."
(Friday, January 19) The minister said these things to reporters after visiting Sonargaon Upazila Health Complex in Narayanganj district.
On this day, the minister went to Sonargaon Upazila Health Complex at 11:30 am and observed the facilities there. During the visit he talks to the patients and inquires about the treatment. Earlier at 10 am, the Health Minister visited Sri Sri Loknath Mandir Ashram in Sonargaon and spoke to religious leaders present at the ashram and participated in prayers.
During the visit, Health Minister was accompanied by Dhaka Divisional Director (Health) Dr. Farid Hossain Mia, Line Director (Upzilla Health Care) Dr. Md. Rizwanur Rahman, Civil Surgeon (Narayanganj) Dr. Abul Fazal Muhammad Mushiur Rahman, Executive Engineer of Directorate of Health Engineering Shaukat Mohibur Rab, Upazila Executive Officer Dipan Debnath and Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Sabrina Haque and other officials were present.
