Ansar One nabbed while preparing for sabotage in train in Chandpur
Dhaka, Dec 23: Ansar forces have arrested one person while preparing to sabotage a train in Chandpur's Hajiganj.
During patrol, an Ansar team led by Ansar and VDP commandant Ujjal Kumar Pal arrested the person at Hajiganj railway station at 11:45 pm on Friday night. The detained Mozammel Hossain (55) is the son of Abdul Rashid of Alipur village of Hajiganj upazila.
Commandant Ujjal Kumar Pal said, "Several stones, lights, gaslights of the railway line were found in the pocket of the middle-aged man named Mozammel. He was fleeing after placing large stones on railway tracks at 26 places. He was then handcuffed."
He said, "A tree was found fallen on the railway line near Hajiganj Bridge. It has been removed. But it is not yet known who dropped it. There is strict monitoring from our side. Security has been beefed up at every point on the railways."
