Dhaka, December 19: State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Swapan Bhattacharjee has said that Bangladesh's relationship with India is bound by blood.

"Our relationship with India is not economic, political or diplomatic. Our friendship is bound by blood. India is our tested friend. This relationship is not to be ruined. Most of the countries of the world did not support the liberation war of Bangladesh. But the people of India were not afraid of opposing world leaders. Bangladeshis will remember it forever." Bhattacharya said this while inaugurating a three-day exhibition of paintings at Jessore Shilpakala Academy on Friday.
