Over half a million people quarantine-isolation free in seven months

Dhaka, October 17: After the first corona was identified in Wuhan province of China in late December last year, all countries took necessary precautionary measures to prevent it. As a part of this, health screening was introduced in all the airports of the country and Coronavirus suspects were kept in quarantine and isolation.

On March 8, the first corona patient was identified in the country.

The first corona patient died on March 18.

However, to prevent the spread of the virus, 627,996 men, women and children across the country were kept in home and institutional quarantine and isolation till Thursday (October 15).

Of these, 544,196 people were kept in quarantine and 83,800 people were kept in isolation.

Of these, 504,109 were given clearance from quarantine and 71,471 from isolation.

A total of 575,580 people have been released from quarantine and isolation.

At present there are 40,087 people in quarantine and 12,329 in isolation.

In the last 24 hours, 836 newcomers and 160 newcomers have been added to the quarantine and isolation respectively. On the other hand, 849 people and 256 people got discharged respectively.
