Palestinian observer praises turnout of voters at the center

Dhaka, 7 January 2024 : Voting for the 12th National Parliament election has just concluded. Continuous polling took place from 8 am till 4 pm.

Voters are exercising their right to vote in different polling stations of the capital.

On Sunday (January 7), the voter turnout was low, but as the day progressed, the voter turnout increased.

Two Palestinian observers visit the Engineering University Girls School polling station at Palashir intersection in Buet. They visited 8 booths and expressed their satisfaction with the polling environment.

Presiding Officer Asif Iqbal Chowdhury said that two Palestinian observers expressed their opinion after the observation. They expressed satisfaction with the polling environment.

They appreciated the way in which elderly voters, differently abled voters are being brought to the polling booths and given the right to vote. At the same time, they also appreciated the fact that children were brought along to vote.

They suggested doing more promotional work to bring teachers and young voters to polling booths.

He said that the total number of voters in this center is 3651. 196 votes have been cast till 12:30 noon. Which is 5 percent of the total votes.
