Dhaka, Oct 20: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called on everyone to work together to establish the rights of Palestine. She also emphasized on returning the land rights to the Palestinians.

The Prime Minister said this at the inauguration ceremony of 150 bridges and 14 overpasses under the road transport and highway department through video conferencing from the road building in Tejgaon on Thursday.

She said, "We are against war, we want peace. I protested Israel's attacks on hospitals in particular, killing women and children. The killing of the Palestinian population cannot be supported. The Palestinians have to give up their own space. It is their right. We are organizing prayers for the victims of the Israeli attack. There will be prayers everywhere on Friday for people of all religions. Medical supplies, essential food and commodities will be sent to the injured."

She criticized the silence of Muslims and said that everyone should work together to establish the rights of Palestine. "Many are silent, do not have the honest courage to protest. If those who are doing this attack are unhappy again. The government conspired to resign!"

Sheikh Hasina said, "I have said that this war must be stopped. The money that goes into making weapons and doing destructive things, can be used to raise children. It will improve the world."

The Prime Minister said that Bangladesh will be a smart Bangladesh by 2041. "Bangladesh will become a prosperous country. We will be a self-respecting nation without bowing down to anyone, without getting hands on anyone."

She said that today's youth do not know what Bangladesh was like 15 years ago. Development of Bangladesh should be presented to them.

Sheikh Hasina said, "There is no objection to the movement. We are also coming to power today after a lifetime of movement. They want to come to power, let them do the movement. Movement will come to power. But people should not be harmed. Everyone should be aware of this."
