PM on her way to home after UK-US visit

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Oct 3: After an 18-day official visit to the United Kingdom and the United States, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left for the country at 4 am on Monday (October 3).

A VVIP chartered flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage left Washington at 6 pm local time on Sunday.

Ambassador of Bangladesh to the United States Mohammad Imran and representative of the United Nations Permanent Mission Mohammad Abdul Muhith bid farewell to the Prime Minister. At that time, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam and senior officials were present at Dallas Airport.

Sheikh Hasina will stop in London on her way back home. From there, she is scheduled to reach Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday (October 4) night.

The Prime Minister went to London, United Kingdom on an official visit on September 15 to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. Then on September 19, she left London for New York, USA.

During her stay in New York, Sheikh Hasina addressed the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly on September 23. Besides, she participated in various programmes of the United Nations General Assembly.
