Sheikh Hasina PM Sheikh Hasina keeps six ministries under her charge
In the new cabinet, Prime Minister Shakhe Hasnia has placed six ministries and divisions under her.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and new ministers took oath at Bangabhaban on Thursday, January 11 evening. President Mohammad Sahabuddani administered the oath at Tadar.
After the swearing-in, the cabinet distributed the offices to the ministers and vice-ministers and issued a notification.
New Cabinet, Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces; The Prime Minister has kept the Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Labor and Human Resources as precedents.
Among them, Nasrul Hamdik has been given the responsibility as the Deputy Minister of Electricity.
In the outgoing cabinet, one Deputy Minister each has been appointed in the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Labor and Human Resources. No one has been given a new ministry.
The new cabinet has 37 members including the Prime Minister. Among them are 25 ministers and 11 deputy ministers.
