PM Sheikh Hasina to brief media on Budget tomorrow

Dhaka, June 13: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will brief the media on the budget presented by her government on Friday.
The press briefing will take place at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka at 3 pm.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal presented the budget on Thursday.
Hasina will present the budget as Kamal has been taken ill.
The prime minister, who will attend the event to take questions from journalists, in a rare turn of events also read a part of Kamal’s fiscal 2019-20 budget speech in parliament on Thursday after her finance chief was struggling with ill health, reported bdnews24.
Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury directed Kamal to address the speech by sitting down after he was seen fumbling through the speech.
This was the new Finance Minister's maiden budget speech.
