Bangladesh President Hamid reaches London from Berlin
President Md. Abdul Hamid arrived in London from Berlin, Germany.
Ashekun Nabi Chowdhury, Press Minister of Bangladesh High Commission in London, United Kingdom, gave this information. He said the President arrived in London at 6:30 pm (local time) on a British Airways flight from Berlin.
Bangladesh High Commissioner to UK Saida Muna Tasnim welcomed the President at the airport. President's wife Rashida Khanum is also with the President at this time.
Earlier, the Head of State left Dhaka early on October 29 on a 16-day visit to Germany and the UK for regular health check-ups and eye treatment. The 78-year-old president has been suffering from glaucoma for a long time.
He used to get his health checked in London and Germany while he was the Speaker of the National Parliament (Parliament). The President is scheduled to return home from London on November 13.
