Primary Education Primary education final examination in November-December
Dhaka, September 6: The final examination of the fifth class will be held in late November or early December. State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain said this at a press conference at the ministry on Monday (September 6).
Zakir Hossain said, "In the beginning, classes will be taken one day for the first to fourth classes, and for the fifth class, there will be classes for six days a week. After completing the short syllabus, the final examination will be held at the end of November or the beginning of December."
He said, "Even if the test is taken in a short syllabus, the number of subjects to be tested will be decided after understanding the situation. If the situation is good, the syllabus may be shortened and examinations may be organized in six subjects. If that doesn't happen, it's still a way to get more involved. "
The state minister said, "If it is possible to continue the educational activities regularly, the annual examinations of all classes will end in December. Along with that, students will be given worksheets (homework) regularly."
Earlier, Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni said that classroom teaching will start from September 12 in primary, secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions.
The decision was taken at a high-level meeting held in the conference room of the Cabinet Division on Sunday (September 5) under the chairmanship of the Education Minister. At the end of the meeting, the Education Minister informed the media about the decision.
