Dhaka, January 18: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered to finish the projects quickly and reduce the cost.

The Prime Minister gave this order in the meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday. Planning Minister MA Mannan shared this information in a briefing after the meeting held at the NEC conference room in the capital's Sherebangla Nagar. State Planning Minister Dr. Shamsul Alam, Planning Secretary Satyajit Karmakar and members of the Planning Commission were present at the time.

The Planning Minister said that the Prime Minister has asked to speed up the work of the project. At the same time, increase the quality of work and reduce costs. But don't stop spending. A report on the macroeconomics of the country has been presented in several meetings. In this context, State Minister for Planning Dr. Shamsul Alam said that the economy of the country is not very bad. In this case, the reserve was 32 billion dollars till January 11. It is stable.

He said that 27.31 billion dollars have come from exports from July to December of the current financial year. 24.69 billion dollars came in the same period of the last financial year. As a result export income increased by 2 billion dollars. In addition, remittances of 10.49 billion dollars have come in this financial year. It was 10.29 billion dollars in the same period last fiscal year. Inflation has come down in the country. The most important thing is that the wave of global recession will not affect Bangladesh.
