Homecoming Day Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina greeted by leaders and activists on Homecoming Day
Dhaka, May 17: Wednesday, May 17 was the 43rd Homecoming Day of Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina. On the occasion, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was showered with greetings from leaders and activists of various organizations, including Awami League, Jubo League, Swachhasebak League, Chhatra League and Women's Awami League. They met her at Ganabhaban.
First, Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader greeted party president Sheikh Hasina.
Amir Hossain Amu, member of the advisory council; Inam Ahmed Chowdhury; Executive Member Abul Hasnat Abdullah; Presidium members Matia Chowdhury, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Salim; Engineer Mosharraf Hossain; Dr. Mustafa Jalal Mohiuddin; Shah Jahan Khan; Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya; Jahangir Kabir Nanak; Advocate Kamrul Islam; Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif; Dr. Deepu Moni; A F M Bahauddin Nashim; Dr: Hashan Mahmud; Organizing Secretary Sujit Roy Nandy; Ahmad Hossain; BM Mozammel Haque; SM Kamal Hussain; Top leaders including Mirza Azam were present.
Later Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash and General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil led the organization to greet Sheikh Hasina.
Similarly, under the leadership of Acting President Mesbaul Hossain Satchu and General Secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu of the Volunteer League, greetings were expressed on behalf of the organization.
Later, Chhatra League President Saddam Hossain and General Secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Inan on behalf of the organization wished the leader on Homecoming Day.
On behalf of Women's Awami League, President Meher Afroz Chumki and General Secretary Shabnam Jahan Sheila congratulated Sheikh Hasina.
May 17 is the 43rd Homecoming Day of Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina. After the assassination of Bangabandhu, he returned to the country on this day in 1981 after spending six years in exile. The plane carrying him arrived at the then Dhaka Kurmitola Airport from the Indian capital New Delhi via Kolkata that afternoon.
On that day, millions of people from all over the country welcomed her, and Bangabandhu was drenched in love. In continuation of that, the party leaders and activists have congratulated Sheikh Hasina even today.
