Bangladesh Independence Day Putin wishes President Hamid, PM Hasina on Bangladesh I-Day
Dhaka, March 26, 2022: On the occasion of the Independence Day of Bangladesh, Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
In a statement issued by the Russian embassy in Dhaka on Saturday (March 26th), Putin said that relations between Russia and Bangladesh were built on a strong tradition of friendship and mutual respect. At the same time, the Russian President stressed the need to further enhance constructive cooperation between the two countries in political, trade, economic and humanitarian and other fields.
"Through our joint efforts, we firmly believe that we will be able to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the interests of the people of both countries, including regional stability, security and development," he said.
In his congratulatory message, Vladimir Putin wished the President and Prime Minister good health and success, as well as happiness and prosperity to all citizens of Bangladesh.
